“We loved working with Derks Construction while building our house. Travis and his subs worked hard to make the project as easy as possible for such a complex design. With our modern style house, there were many finishes that had to meet and match perfectly and seamlessly. We had block walls meeting drywall meeting aluminum windows and it all had to fit. He is a master at installation of difficult items, from the large pivot door to the Shoji wall in front, he takes his time and gets the job done right. He had many ideas that weren’t on the drawings that helped maintain our mantra of “Clean lines”. From bolting the stairs into the concrete to designing the aluminum piece hiding our large window shade, Travis helped pull it all together. We couldn’t have done it without him.
